Your English language ability It is important that your English is sufficient for the course you plan to enrol in.  The following guidelines apply.  To enrol in a business, tourism or human resources course, participants must: 

  • have successfully completed Year 12 or equivalent;
  • if mature aged, demonstrate basic literacy and numeracy skills appropriate to the level at which this course has been developed and a capacity to undertake study at this level;
  • if overseas students from a non-English speaking background, demonstrate a minimum IELTS score (or equivalent) of 5.5.

Bridge Business College may require you to demonstrate your English language proficiency by providing evidence of completion of an English language course and/or sit an English language placement test with the College’s Director of English Studies.  Should a course applicant’s English language ability be not of the required level, the College can provide an English language (ELICOS) course.
